FAQ

Everything people ask before they commit.

Grouped by what you are actually worried about. If your question is not here, ask it — and we will add the answer to this page.

Money

A brochure or brand site starts at TZS 1,200,000. An e-commerce store starts at TZS 2,800,000 and a custom web application at TZS 4,500,000. Every figure is fixed against a written scope — see the full table on our pricing page.
50% of the agreed total, invoiced the moment you sign and due within seven days. Work begins the day it clears. The remaining 50% falls due at handover, before we push to production. The mechanics are all in the payment terms.
It reserves your slot in our delivery schedule — we turn other work away to hold it — and it funds the first half of the team’s time, which we commit before any further money moves. It is the standard arrangement in this industry, and the other half stays with you until the work is in front of you and working.
Not on a fixed-price engagement. If the work takes us longer than we estimated, that is our risk. The only thing that changes the price is a change to the scope that you request and approve in writing — and your portal flags that your signed agreement no longer matches, so nothing changes quietly.
Bank transfer (CRDB or NMB) or mobile money (M-Pesa, Tigo Pesa, Airtel Money). We invoice in TZS by default and in USD on request. Details appear on every invoice, and your portal always shows what has been received against it.
Before work starts, the deposit is refundable less committed third-party costs. After work starts, you pay for what has been delivered, we release it to you, and any surplus is refunded within 14 days. If we fail to deliver, you get a full refund of everything paid for undelivered work. Full detail in the refund policy.

Working together

Yes — that is what the client portal is for. It carries your signed agreement, your invoices and their payment status, milestone-by-milestone progress, every deliverable file, and a direct message thread with the team building your product. You never have to email to ask where things stand.
A brand website is 2–4 weeks. A mobile app is 6–12 weeks. An AI system is 4–10 weeks, depending mostly on how ready your data is. Your agreement carries the dates and the portal shows the live position against them.
One named lead, reachable by phone, for the life of your project. Messages you send in the portal go to the people writing your code, not to a queue and not to an account manager who has to go and ask.
Content by the agreed dates, feedback within five business days, one person with authority to approve, and access to anything the work touches. Projects that slip almost always slip here rather than in engineering, which is why we say it plainly.
Yes. Work stops, your deposit stays on account and we hold your place for 60 days. Beyond that we may need to requote if rates, availability or the team have moved.
Yes, at no cost, before you send us anything sensitive. Use your own or ask us for ours — either is fine.

Technical

You do, in full, once the final payment clears — source code, design source files, content and credentials. We keep no lock, and we will hand everything to another developer without friction if you ever want to move on.
Deliberately ordinary things: React and Next.js, Laravel and Node, Flutter, PostgreSQL and MySQL, Python for AI work. We choose what your next developer will already know rather than what is newest, because you should never be stuck with us.
Yes. Hosting on a domain you already own is TZS 25,000 a month, including SSL, daily backups and uptime monitoring against our service level agreement. You can also host it yourself — we hand over everything you need either way.
Often, yes. We start with a short paid audit of the existing codebase and tell you honestly whether continuing or rebuilding is the cheaper path. You are free to take that audit elsewhere.
Usually. M-Pesa, Tigo Pesa and Airtel Money are integrations we do routinely. We review your codebase first and quote against what we find rather than guessing.

After launch

Anything that does not work as your agreement describes is fixed free for 30 days from handover. Report it in the portal and we respond within the times in our service level agreement — two business hours for anything critical.
Hosting, SSL renewal, daily backups, uptime monitoring, security patching, bug fixes on work we delivered, a monthly allowance of small content changes, and a quarterly performance and security report. From TZS 25,000 a month.
We hand over source, credentials, domain control and documentation, and we will brief your new team on a call at no charge. We would rather you left well than stayed reluctantly.
Yes. We deliver across East Africa and work remotely with clients worldwide. We invoice in TZS or USD and hold review calls in your time zone.
