About Tech-X
Founded in Mbeya in 2022 because Tanzanian businesses deserved better than being kept in the dark about what they were paying for.
Why we exist
Tech-X started in 2022 out of a specific frustration: companies here were paying real money for websites that nobody could update, apps that could not take mobile money, and projects that went quiet for weeks at a time.
The technical work was rarely the problem. The problem was that clients were kept outside it — no written scope, no visible progress, no idea what had been agreed. So we built the company around fixing that first, and the engineering second.
Today we are a team of designers, engineers and strategists working out of Mbeya with clients in Dar es Salaam, Arusha, Kilimanjaro and beyond. Five disciplines sit under one roof precisely so that nothing gets lost between them.

Scope, price, dates and exclusions, in an agreement you sign before any money moves. If it is not written down, it is not agreed — which protects you as much as us.
Your portal shows the same progress data our project manager sees. You never have to ask where things stand, and we never get to quietly slip.
Source code, design files and credentials transfer to you in full. We choose common tools deliberately so another team could pick it up tomorrow.
We turn down work that we do not think will pay for itself, or that a simpler tool already solves. A short contract we deliver beats a big one we regret.
